Tiaan & Vivienne
What can I say! One of the most creative couple’s I have ever worked with. Tiaan & Vivienne are a couple with their feet planted firmly on the ground, with an appreciation for those little things in life. Happiness, Joy, Creativity, Love and Humbleness are only a few words that comes to mind when I think of them. Their love for God, one another, but also their friends & family are passionate and sincere.
I have been close friends with Vivienne for 15 years now, and it has been an absolute joy& honor to do the flowers for her wedding.
Working with creative people are always such a joy &blessing. Vivienne knew exactly what she wanted and we managed to incorporate the flowers & décor to suit the venue & surrounds beautifully.
Tiaan and Vivienne are both nature lovers & therefore De Uijlenes was the perfect venue for them. The ceremony was held within the forest, underneath the majestic old oak tree & enclosed by beautiful trees. During the ceremony you could not help but feel the closeness of our Creator. I will never forget the picture of Vivienne in her white dress, as she came walking through the forest towards her groom, whom were waiting for her, with tears in his eyes, underneath the oak tree, a true goosebump moment.
The reception was held at the Old Barn on De Uijlenes farm.Key words to describe this farmstyle wedding ares: Natural, Simplistic, Family, Warm, Unique &Timeless. We stuck with very natural colors, lots of greens, greys & whites contrasted with accents of pink& gold, all beautifully seen in the Fynbos we used. Each table consisted of various different vintage & new glass bottles in different shapes & sizes each filled with beautiful Fynbos, Proteas & Desert Roses. The clever use of gold added a unique touch to the décor & tied everything together. The soft light from the candles reflecting on the glass bottles gave warmth & a cosy atmosphere to the tables.The large fire place as well asthe soft fairy lights contributed to the warmth and soft lighting of the venue. The decor and flowers stood in beautiful contrast to the rustic look of the raw rock walls inside, complimenting each other.
